The seller describes this 1927 Ford Roadster as very easy and a pleasure to drive. It tracks straight and true and can be driven anywhere. The powerplant for this 1927 Ford is 4-cylinder Ford Pinto engine and 2bbl carburetor. The Ford also features automatic transmission along with 4 bolt mustang II front end. The braking is achieved by front disc brakes and drums on the rear. The Ford sports fattier tires on the rear and skinnier at front for the hot rod look. All have plenty of thread left on them. The seller states that there are no leaks, knocks or overheating issues with the engine or transmission. The high/low beam lights, brake lights and indicator lights are all functioning.
The bright orange body of this Ford is all steel with fiberglass fenders and running boards, and wooden floors. The body and frame are rust/rot free. The paint is aged and has touchups, cracks and chips. Seller describes the paint as “driver quality” and a “10-footer”. The two-fold windshield is crack/chip free and features manual windshield wiper that is functional. Both doors, driver and passenger, open and lock freely. This 1927 Ford does not come with a top.
The interior as well as trunk is carpeted and has leatherette trunk padding, leatherette bench seat and leatherette door panels. The leatherette in the trunk area is aged, stained and coming off the sides. The carpet is clean and stain free, and there are two rubber mats with Tweety on the inside. The battery along with the fire extinguisher are in the trunk. The interior features chain link steering wheel with “ah-ooga” working horn. Both speedometer and odometer are working, and the gauge cluster has working voltage, oil pressure and oil temp gauges. The Ford is also equipped with working radio.
