Bad Apple Rides has pleasure to list this crazy looking custom 1980 Yamaha Bobber.
The seller of this 1980 Yamaha bobber custom bobber is also the builder, who has taken the customization to the next level. The only original part that was used was a donor’s engine. The power comes from 1980 Yamaha 650cc engine and 4 speed transmission, both were completely rebuilt during the built, according to the seller. There is no front brake, but the stopping power is achieved by rear disc brakes. The bobber is equipped with front and taillight, but there are no indicator lights. The speed and distance traveled are monitored by digital GPS mounted on custom fabricated handlebars. The 26” front wheel with dirt bike tire and back fatty tire both mounted on the green spoke rims set the bobber from the crowd.
The seller fabricated custom frame to give this bobber drop seat look and painted it silver with several coats of clear coat. He also fabricated custom exhaust that exits just behind the front pegs. The custom fabricated seat is bagged and can be lowered or raised. The air for the air bags circulates through the frame. There is no electronic ignition and to start the bobber, one must use the kick start.
The seller states that the bobber rides rigid and was used only for barhopping and ride around town.
