Bad Apple Rides has pleasure to list this super cool 2009 Custom V8 Trike
The seller of this V8 Trike states, he purchased it from the original builder’s family. The builder of this Trike has, unfortunately, passed away, and he was the only one who would ride it. They mentioned that he built seven (7) of the V8 Trikes in his lifetime, and this one was the Trike #7. The power comes from Chevy 350 crate engine equipped with Summit intake and 4 bbl. Edelbrock carburetor and paired to 700R4 automatic transmission with B&M Shifter. The Oldsmobile rear end is equipped with 373 gears. The seller states that the engine and transmission were brand new when the Trike was built and have same number of original miles on it. The aluminum radiator is mounted on the back of the Trike and is paired with dual electric fans to keep the engine at operational temperature during hot day drives, parades, traffic, and cruises. The brakes on this Trike are disc on the rear and the master cylinder was built using CNC master cylinder and pedal assembly. The front rim came from Harley Davidson Fat Boy and is paired with Harley Davidson tire, the rear tires are radial GTS Stinger P295/50/R15. The seller states that all electrical accessories on the Trike are in working condition including running lights, hi/lo lights, brake lights, indicator lights, horn, and emergency lights. The gauge cluster was built using Dolphin gauges and includes Speedometer with working Odometer, Oil Pressure, Temperature Gauge, Volt Gauge and RPM Gauge. The handlebars controls came also from Harley Davidson and include indicator lights, hi/lo lights, and dual horn.
The Trike features all steel custom-built frame where the tubing was machine bent and professionally welded. The frame was professionally coated sprayed with chrome medium yellow color and the running boards and rear fenders were sprayed with tan bed liner. The exhaust features Sanderson headers that were ceramic coated and have mufflers inside, so the Trike has nice rumble, but it is not too loud. The Trike features single springer front end that is highlighted by chrome Peterbilt headlight. The tan seats are very comfortable, and the front seats is adjustable so the Trike can be comfortably ridden by smaller or taller rides with no issues. The trike also features two lockable compartments under the passenger hand rests and is equipped with hitch. The Trike also comes with large lockable steel toolbox/storage box that can be mounted in the hitch and used for tools or anything that is needed for longer road trips.
According to the builder’s family, this Trike has been a labor of love, took over 20K and many man hours to build. The seller states that the Trike drives extremely well and is very comfortable to ride.
