How do I submit a vehicle?

Simple – click here or on the Submit a Ride tab at the top of the page

What happens once I submit a vehicle?

Our dedicated team will review, and if accepted for our auction, you will be invoiced for the auction fee. Then, we will be in touch with your auction write up. The auction will be listed on the day you selected on the submission form.

Who manages the auction?

Our dedicated team will manage the entire process of auction so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the auction.

Can I change anything once the auction is live?

We hope to get it right the first time and not to make any changes once the auction is posted; however, we understand that you may add photos, video links or even some information pertinent to the listing. Therefore, you can always contact us during the auction to add more information.

How long does it take for my vehicle to go live?

We try to respond to submissions within 24 hours, and if accepted, have the write up no later than 48 hours after acceptance. Depending on the posting day selection, it may take up to 7 business days for the auction to go live.

Can I cancel my auction?

We generally do not like to cancel live auctions as we hope your listing is exclusive to Bad Apple Rides. However, we do understand that there may be unforeseeable circumstances that would force you to cancel. In this case, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to start the cancellation process. However, we do not offer refund of the paid auction fee.

Can I relist my vehicle if it does not sell?

Yes, absolutely. We hope you will be successful in selling your vehicle first time around, but know that sometimes it takes couple of tries. If your vehicle does not sell, please contact us if you wish to relist. Same auction fees will apply.

What happens when auction ends?

If your vehicle sold, Congratulations! Upon auction’s end, we will provide seller and winning bidder their contact information. The completion of transaction at that point is between seller and winning bidder. We would recommend that buyer obtains a bill of sale and photocopy of the title from the seller prior payment.

If your vehicle sold through Best Offer, the process is the same. Upon acceptance of the offer, the seller and buyer receive each other contact information. The completion of transaction at that point is between seller and winning buyer. We would recommend that buyer obtains a bill of sale and photocopy of the title from the seller prior payment.

Do you assist with transport?

No, we do not. Transport arrangement is between buyer and seller. However, we can certainly make a recommendation to trustworthy transporters if you do not have anyone.

How do I get paid?

If your vehicle is sold, Congratulations! You will receive buyer’s contact information, and buyer will receive your contact information. We recommend contacting buyer as soon as possible and arrange payment as well as transportation. Wire transfer as form of payment is always fastest and safest; however, the arrangement is up to you and buyer.

What is reserve on my auction?

Reserve on your auction is simply the lowest price you will accept for your vehicle. Once that price is hit, the reserve is removed, and your vehicle will sell to the highest bidder (at or over the reserve). We recommend putting a reserve price that you are comfortable with.

Can I lower a reserve on my auction?

We recommend putting a reserve price that you are comfortable with, but also that is in line with the market price of the vehicle. However, if you wish to lower a reserve during the auction listing, please get in touch with us, and we will lower it for you.

Can I lower a Fixed Price on my Buy Now or Best Offer auction?

We recommend selecting an asking price that you are comfortable with, but also that is in line with the market price of the vehicle. However, if you wish to lower your asking price during the auction listing, please get in touch with us, and we will lower it for you.
